Beaches

Fairbourne:- is a BlueFlagBeach and is safe, but please do not go to the very top end near the Estuary.

This beach is aprox 2 miles long with clean firm sand (when the tide goes out) and is great for digging sand castles.

Llwyngwril Beach:- is a pebble and stone beach but has fantastic rock pools for fishing with nets.

Towyn Beach:- is large and great for surfing in windy weather

and calm in good weather.

Aberdovey:- is suitable if you go over the sand dunes through the golf course. It is not very safe by the Estuary, but crab fishing from the pier at full tide is brilliant.

Barmouth:- The middle/top end of the Beach is good and Blue Flag, but do not go near the Estuary end.

Harlech:- This Beach is great and has loads of sand dunes to explore in and loads of sand.

    There are lots more places to explore and enjoy around this area

               there are brochures in the bungalow about these.
